Chapter Theme
THE COURAGE TO BECOME WHOLE, TO RETURN TO ONESELF AND REBUILD A LIFE WITH MEANING, PRESENCE, AND VITALITY.
In this sensitive and profoundly human chapter, Patrícia Ansarah shares the journey of a woman who achieved professional recognition but realized that her success had been built at the cost of her own vitality.
Drawing on significant experiences such as a serious accident, a miscarriage, burnout, and the need to reinvent her own existence, the author invites the reader to reflect on the pitfalls of continuous performance, disconnection from oneself, and the relentless pursuit of external approval.
Interweaving personal experiences, references to mental health, and reflections on spirituality, happiness, and purpose, Patrícia poses an essential question: what kind of life are we building while life unfolds? More than offering answers, this text is an invitation to courage—the courage to slow down, revise priorities, reclaim forgotten parts of who we are, and choose a more coherent, conscious, and meaningful life. Because true maturity may not lie in becoming a better person, but in having the courage to become whole.
