Chapter Theme

FROM THE SKIN INWARD:
WHAT PAUSE REVEALS
Co-authored with Fabiana Annenberg

In this chapter, Dr. Letícia Novaes and Fabi Annenberg invite readers on a journey back to their own bodies and to the wisdom that resides within. In a culture marked by haste, relentless productivity, and disconnection from the self, they present pause as an act of courage, presence, and profound self-care.

Through reflections on vital energy, the feminine, pleasure, aging, and reconnecting with the senses, they reveal that happiness and longevity depend not only on healthy habits, but also on our ability to inhabit our own lives with awareness and intention.

Together, they offer an integrative perspective that weaves together knowledge of pelvic health, the nervous system, and the body's innate intelligence, showing that symptoms are not enemies to be fought, but invitations to listen to what is asking to be acknowledged and cared for.
