About Dr. Ivan Furtado

Physician specialized in Hematology at the Hospital Universitário Pedro Ernesto – UERJ, Bone Marrow Transplant specialist at the Hospital Universitário Clementino Fraga Filho – UFRJ, officer of the Brazilian Navy Medical Corps at the Naval Hospital Marcílio Dias, and Coordinator of Hematology at Leve Saúde.

He graduated in Medicine from Universidade Gama Filho in 2013 and joined the Brazilian Navy Medical Corps in 2014. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital Federal do Andaraí (2015–2017), in Hematology and Hemotherapy at UERJ (2017–2019), and in Bone Marrow Transplantation at UFRJ (2023–2024).
