Chapter Theme

Happiness Built at Work: Positive Psychology and Happiness Skills

From the perspective of the Happiness Culture, the author’s chapter presents that well-being at work is not a luxury, but a trainable skill. Positive Psychology and Neuroscience support the idea that we thrive when purpose, healthy relationships, and presence are integrated.

Happiness Skills—such as mindfulness, resilience, generosity, and savoring—translate science into daily practices that strengthen mental health, engagement, and psychological safety. Happiness ceases to be an individual pursuit and becomes an ethical commitment between people and organizations.
